The workshop “Menu of Memory” invited residents to explore how smell can unlock personal memories and bring hidden stories by selecting familiar scents: spices, foods, aromatic plants, and natural smells. Each scent acted as a trigger, prompting visitors to recall moments from their past: where the memory took place, what happened, who was there, and which emotions, colours, shapes, or sounds resurfaced. Participants were encouraged to share these stories in their own way. These voices, reflections, and sensory fragments now form a growing archive of Dieburg’s collective memory.
